What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We use cookies to collect anonymous data about how visitors use our site and how it performs. We use this to improve our products, services and user experience.
We also use Contact Forms to allow visitors to contact us directly. Any enquiries may include a telephone number, email address, and physical address. This information is used to communicate with our customers.
Contact form
When visitors use the Contact Form, the email address, and other optional information, such as name and telephone number is submitted to us. Additionally, the enquirer’s IP address and browser user agent string is also collected in order to help spam detection.
We keep contact form submissions for up to three months for customer service purposes. We do not use such information for marketing purposes.
We use the third party service, Automattic, to provide the contact form used within this website. The contact form submission data (IP address, user agent, email address, site URL, and comment) is submitted to the Akismet service (also owned by Automattic) for spam checking.
The actual submission data is stored in the database of the orangefilms.com website, and is emailed directly to us. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message.
The IP address is included as an abuse prevention measure. And for sites using Akismet, it is required for providing proper spam defence.
Further details on the Jetpack contact form by Automatticcan be found here.
